Setting Up Your Gmail Account:
1. Open Internet Explorer and go to www.google.com.
2. Click Gmail in the top menu bar.
3. Below the sign in box, click Sign up for Gmail.
4. Fill in the required information under "Getting Started with Gmail."
*Give your account information (email address and password) to your instructor.
5. Click I'm Ready - Show me my account to verify that your account is active.

Setting Up Your iGoogle Homepage
1. From your Gmail account, click more at the top of the page, then go to even more.
2. Under the Search Menu select iGoogle.
3.
Choose a theme of your choice and then click the See Your Page button.
Your iGoogle Homepage should now be set up.

Adding Gadgets
You will be required to add gadgets (tools) to your iGoogle homepage in order to communicate and share resources with your teammates and instructors. The gadgets you must add are:
  • Google Docs
  • Google Bookmarks
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Talk
  • GMail
To Add Gadgets:
1. Click Add Stuff in the top right corner of your iGoogle homepage.
2. Click Add Now under the gaget you wish to add. If needed, you may search for gadgets using the search bar on the right hand side.
3. Once all of your gadgets are added, click Back to iGoogle homepage at the top of the page.
